One of the things Backblaze has not been quick to release for their backup service is some mobile apps for people to easily access the files in their backup via their smartphone or tablet. In the last year alone I recall Mozy and CrashPlan releasing their mobile apps and making several enhancements.
The good news is Backblaze has been listening, and they are working on an app. Details about what it will do are not available yet, and they are not giving out much info except an iPhone, and I imagine and iPad, app is on its way. Those of use that prefer Android I guess will have to wait longer. Hopefully not to much longer since there are some very nice Android apps already available for other services.

The iCloud drive can be backed up to Backblaze on Mac as long as the files are present locally on the computer itself and not stored only in the cloud. As long as the 'Optimize Mac Storage' feature and 'Store in iCloud' feature, which move files off the computer and onto the cloud, are disabled the drive will be able to back up to us. These options can be found in the 'Apple ID Menu' and 'Storage. Backblaze B2 Pricing. B2, on the other hand, has storage costs of $0.005 per GB per month, with the first 10GB of storage free. Meanwhile, download costs are $0.01 per GB, with 1GB of free.
